Dr. Janos Barrera is a board-certified plastic surgeon and Assistant Professor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, holding a joint appointment in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and the Wyss Department of Plastic Surgery.
His clinical practice is dedicated to hand and upper extremity surgery, peripheral nerve surgery, and orthoplastic and microsurgical reconstruction. Dr. Barrera earned his MD from Stanford University School of Medicine (2016), completed his Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Residency at Stanford Health Care (2023), and his Hand & Upper Extremity Fellowship at NYU Langone (2024). He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
